CHILDREN’S CLASSES

The Greenwich Bahá’í community is part of a worldwide community called the Bahá’í Faith that began over 165 years ago – our community can be found in every corner of the globe!

One of our main goals is to contribute to the vision of making the world a better place through our deeds in the community. To serve the families in the Greenwich area we offer free children’s moral classes.  In fact, there are over 10,000 of these classes around the world!

Every lesson focuses on one moral such as love, unity or generosity. Every lesson is a blessed time for children to understand great & profound themes such as justice, truthfulness or kindness applied to the sorts of situation a child faces as s/he grows up.

We use songs, stories, games and creative arts to ensure each child’s learning style is developed. We respect and love each child for himself/herself. The Bahá’í Writings teach us to “regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value…education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.”

The classes are for children between the ages of around 4 to 10 and are presently held monthly in the Blackheath area. It is usually on a Sunday afternoon and it lasts for approximately two hours.

We have 2 fully CRB checked teachers at each class nurturing the moral development of children in a warm and homely environment full of fun and entertainment that also engages their spiritual and moral senses.
